I take it white poops is a given that a fish has worms?

Or are there any other reasons for white poo?

Would flicking be a symptom also if a fish has worms?

My big plec used to poo white after having courgette. So have urs been eating that or cucumber?

If its a one off I wouldnt worry - diet will affect the colour and consistancy. But if its a continual problem and long and stringy it could indicate a number of problems like parasites or bacterial infection, or it could also be constipation. Try feeding some blanched crushed peas first to see if it remedies the problem.

Flicking can be caused by gill and/or skin irritation through parasites and/or water chemistry. What are your water stats, tank size and contents, and how long has it been set up?
