White Plastic Sleeve

Just took my Eheim 2075 proffesional 3 external filter apart to give it a clean and found a small (10mm maybe) white plastic sleeve on top of the blue sponge in the top tray. Now i am guessing it has come out of one of the pipe connections on the removable valves connections as it fits inside them but which one...input or output ?.....Thanks

Perfect and many thanks for the link, the sleeve was no15 in the photo and it goes below no 14, all fitted now and filter working perfect....Cheers Colin
