White On Eyes?

Last night, I noticed that Cloud's eyes had white on them.... they aren't cloudy, but both have a white fleck.... any ideas what this might be? the clear part over his eyes looks a little.... well, like they are swollen to me. am i paranoid?

Tank parameters:
10 gallon, heated
ammonia: 0ppm
nitrite: 0ppm
nitrate: no idea, i'll check it when i get home
temp: 82°
tank mates: none

100%H20 change and a pinch of aquarium salt and ck his status daily.

without a pic it is going to be hard to say.
I think that it maybe eye flukes, which are extreamly hard to cure but can be
prevented from destroying the eye.

you need to be sure yourself that it is eye flukes first before treating for it.
The only thing that will make any dent on eye flukes is formalin and the
purer the formalin the better, IE meds that contain formalin as part of it active
ingredients may do little or nothing. be aware that formalin will rapidly eats up O2
in water and is a very dangerouse chemical that has some carcenogenic properties.
I'm not even sure a betta would survive a treatment of formalin so I'd try a dose of
1ml per 90ltr (normal dose is 1ml per 30ltr) first.

go research eyeflukes in fish as much as you can before going down that road.

i'll see if i can't catch him and put him in a little cup to get a picture tomorrow. he's not acting weird at all, he's in fact much more active lately.

i don't have a bloomin' clue what it is. since there is white on it though, i have been giving him penicillian (sp?) and the white is subsiding. he adores his medicine.... in fact, he jumped up and took it right off the bottle tip tonight, it was comical must taste good he's not acting weird at all.... so we'll just see what happens.
