Just notice a tiny white worm thing slivering around at the bottom of my tank in between the pebbles anyone got any ideas what it might, i would take a picture but its far too small and probably wouldnt come out

Anyone know what this could be there is only 1 at the moment

Are you currently cycling the tank?

I had some small white worms when I was cycling my tank it was because of the high amount of ammonia in the tank.

No the tank has been running for months and nothing has changed except ive been using myxazin for treatment for some fin rot and fungal infection but thats it only seen one for the first time today very small it was

It may be flatworms, how big is it? A few millimetres? Does it move with a smooth gliding motion? And does it have an arrow-shaped head?

Hi sounds like it could be down to over feeding.
Do a water change and gravel clean. then cut down on the amount of food you are feeding.
Then you will not see the worms again.

Strange thing is this turned up when i had already cut down feeding as i done so cause i have alot of snails and wanted to starve them so i reduced feeding massively and then today after a 25% water change i noticed it

I think it could be a freshwater nematode or a roundworm. Perfectly harmless, and a sign of overfeeding. If they get into the water column some fish will eat them.
