please also change the water before you go...and do NOT use the feeder blocks...i left to camp for a week and thought they were a good idea...i came home and seeing what the water was like i PANICKED! so either feed before you go probably be fine for a week), or put the "daily pellets" into seperate baggies and say "feed one of these a day) or even only ask the guy to feed them only twice while your gone (portion out the food for them so they wont overfeed). i dont thing that overa week you should worry about feeding them EVERYDAY if someone else (who probably isnt "fish savvy") will be doing the feeding. ask the person watching them for you to feed them like 3 days apart...less chance the water fouls terribly, and has dire consequences. i hope that made sence..ive had a long day.

well he lives in my boyfriends room at a frturnity house..dont know that i trust stupid boys who drink all day to feed my fishy..but i suppose i could try

Hey I am one of those types of boys and my fish are perfectly fine infact they love tequila almost as much as me

You could probably even asked someone to just feed them two or three times during the week.
They'll be hungry when you get back, but they can last alot longer without food.
That way It won't take a scientist to feed them a small portion.

Honestly if I had people like you described to choose from, I'd take my chances on not feeding them for 7 days. I've dont it before with no problems. However, if you do want them to feed, I'd just have them do it on the 3rd day and leave it at that.
