Whit Spot

Had a recent thread 'fish rubbing' now white spots are visible, 2 fish are covered in them and a couple of others have just 1-2 spots . I rushed out this morning and got some white spot treatment, removed carbon from both filters and applied the treatment . Have to give a second dose in 4 days and wait a week for a water change.

Any thing else I should be doing?
I turned of my uv steriliser as I think it can break down the Meds.
I don't have any where to quarantine any fish, should I put the 2 badly affected fish out their misery or give them a chance?

give them a chance, i would raise the temp by a degree or two.

My temp is at 80F already, should I raise ?

Shouldn't quarantine anyway as the parasite in all its life stages will be everywhere and require the whole tank treated

Lost a tiger barb today,

Bright side all other fish seem to look a fraction better, fingers crossed

Lost 9 fish this morning, 7 glass cats , 2 tiger barbs .
