Which To Get ?

Right ive found two external filters but finding it hard to decide on which brand to buy either fluval fx5 or tetratec 2400, do any of you helpful people have or have had any dealings with either filter and if so which would you go for, i have read up on their stats and the fluval does clean aquariums larger then the tetratec but would like to know your views on these filters. My tank is a 100 uk gallon tank and has a few cichlids and other fish in and need the water to be pretty much perfect . any helpful info would be appreciated .
