I want to buy some foreground plants and am looking at Dwarf sag and pygmy chain swords. I am sure many people have experience with this on here so am asking which is easier to grow and maintain, looks better and last longest? Or even other good plant suggestions. I am also looking at getting some riccia. Anyone have any spare or would reccommend against it?
Thanks as always :good:

All three species should do well. Sometimes E. tenellus gets tall as does dwarf sag, but your tank is pretty big, from looking at the picture. Riccia will need to be tied down. I work with Riccia's larger cousin, Pelia, another good choice. Marsilea species are also good, as are small crypts like C. parva.

Woah loads of options :) My tank in the pic is 200l 4ft but I am due to get a 5ft 300l hopefully this weekend. Just want some plants to fill it out. I have amazon swords and vallis, I think I have some kind of crypt but I had some plants I wasn't sure about so posted a Q in the forum a few days ago. I was looking a the riccia to do a carpet or possibly cover some caves I am hoping to get!
Ok I put in Marsilea and it said there are 65 species!!!!! WOW!! where do I start! haha.
I was hoping they wouldn't get too big which is why I looked at dwarf ones, I can always cut them back to 'control' them!
