which nitrate testing kit?

i bought a new testing kit today and used them at the same time one says i have 0.0 nitrate(hagen nutrafin)and the other is 20ppm(aquarium pharmaceuticals,inc)which one can i trust?

i used them both and Hagen one said i had nowt whilst api said i did, i prefer api ones myslef now.

the hagen ones go out of date pretty fast, was only a few months after i bought the set.

I.M.O. unless you are willing to pay a lot of money, you cannot guarantee accuracy with your average over the counter test kits. Most I.M.O. are not totally accurate over the full range they suggest.
