It really depends on what plants you have. There's more to keeping plants alive than strictly light in many cases, but not all...just most.

There's also no such thing as zero maintenance plants. They all require pruning and upkeep at some point. Some plants require it more than others. If you want plants to stay small with little maintenance to them then I would recommend sticking with foreground based plants like many ofo the crypto species. Then again, lighting is a factor.

You will need to provide more information to us such as the size of your tank as well as what and how many plants you have.

It's not what type of bulb you have, but how powerful the light is.
Plants dont really care about kelvin despite what you may hear. Even a blue light can grow plants.
Daylight is supposed to be pleasing to most people.
As previously stated, we need the size of the tank and what wattage the light controller is. With low light, you'll only have to dose trace elements maybe 2x a week. Carry out 10-25% water change each week when the lights are off ( I dont mean turn the lights off when you water change, but wait until the lights are off before you change the water).

Hi guys tank is 36x36x29inch being 36inch deep.

have not brought lights or controller yet...

Sorry to disagree with this statement but I do.

Maybe you've just phrased it one way and I've interpreted it in another way. lol

There is most definately such a thing as zero maintenance plants. They don't all require pruning and upkeep at any point.

I guess you could say this in terms of the tank size and growing room but if you have crypts/anubias.ferns in a non CO2 then you don't have to do anything at all really.

I don't prune. The only upkeep I do is add a pinch or so of KNO3 every month or 2

I guess if an anubias gets to the stage it is pushing against the glass I would snip some off but that in my case is every 3-4 months and I snip 10cm+ off and end of 'maintenance for another 3 months. lol
