which is the best molly?

I want to know which is the best molly to choose from. Ok so we got regular dlamatians and then the gold dalmatians and then the sailfined mollies and then the the black mollies and the lyretails. which is the best? I want one that is hardy enough to withstand a water change. a molly that is the least seseptable to illnesses. Which one should I get???

i think they are all about the same. just depends on your preference. i like the lyretail mollies myself

There isn't realy much difference in mollys as for which ones "best" although normal plain black mollys seem to be more prone to skin conditions than other mollys.

I think they all are nice. Though the black ones are prone to more "skin" conditions. I've bred black mollies, and dalmations. I also had a balloon molly whcih was cute!

I think you are more or less asking a question of opinion on what molly looks best to other people. Mollys, Swordtails, and Platties are very closely related and are all very hardy fish. Great for beginners too.

got to be sailfined mollies cause there soooooooo cute but even more cute are there fry there lil yellow bodies with lil black spots

well personally i think balloon mollies are the best i got 2 silver 1's and they are so cute and when the light catchs them the scales shine and the fry are soooo cute and they eat well to i think my mollies think they are peranahs they eat like em anyway lol its up to you your money not ours

I am getting all sail fined mollies two males and four females. So that means I will be getting six mollies. Could I get three males and three females? Or would the females be too harassed?

we're quite new to livebearers just having got some black mollies & swordtails a few months ago & i just love black mollies theyre so cute with their smiley faces. we have a baby in a breeding mini tank in our big tank & i cant believe how much its grown over the past few weeks, unfortunately he/she was the only one i managed to save from the tank cannibals!!!!!!!! black mollie babies are so cute a teeny tiny pitch black version of the big ones
