Which is the best bulb

I was looking at the hagen brand bulbs but dont know what the difference is between a few of them. They say that a few of them promote plant growth.

I was thinking about the ZooMed ones. I'm not sure which ones are better but I think a combination of the special plant bulbs and just regular daylight bulbs is the best. Any info would help me too!

The common advice is daylight bulbs (5000K to 7000K) with a full spectrum. I've had excellent results with Dennerle bulbs (3000K) but these are relatively expensive and I'm not sure on availibility in Canada and the US.

Hagen's Life-Glo is the best one in their range at 6700K. It's a full spectrum bulb but is the most expensive.

I just got 3 of the ZooMed FloraSun and three of the TropicSun. I think they should be pretty good on my 29 gallon tank. But anyway when I get them I'll let you all know how they work!
