Ok, my tank is looking good now IMO (pics as soon as I borrow a camera).

What easy to keep corals would you reccomend, if any? and do you know some good sites that tell you about thier care? I don't want anything too demanding to start with.

I have the cube tank in my sig, with 2 percula clowns, 9 turbo snails and three LH hermits (went to pick up some red legs and sand shifting snails the other day, but they had sold out so am getting them next week), oh and the hitchiking crab that my LFS tells me is a swimming crab, though it looks different to pics I have seen it does have 'paddles' on its rear legs. Oh and more live rock will be added as and when I find shapes that will fit in with my rock wall.

Thanks

Jon

You could start with zooanthids/polyps or mushrooms. Both are easy to keep. There is a wide range of corals that you could keep. You would be better picking out the ones you want and then we can say yes or no to them. How old is the tank and do you have the ocean light 150 that comes with it?

I set it up on the 20th of December (15.5kg LR on setup) and the 150MH light that came with it is 12" from the water surface, is that ok?

With that light you can keep most corals. I'd start with some zoos, maybe a few shrooms or rics, or some GSP. Careful with the shrooms, they spread fast and sting other corals. You also might try a frogspawn or candycane coral as your first LPS. Very hardy and beautiful corals. Whatever you do, take some pics!!! :)

Thanks for the links and suggestions, I will have a good look over those. I have added a leather mushroom, but its just hiding its 'polyps' at the mo. On the fragment of rock it came with were some free standing 'polyps' and a green pod type thing? opens and closes with light.
