So I have a planted 55 gallon and am trying to decide what to finish my stock of with. Currently I have 1 Veil Angelfish, 1 Bristlenose pleco, 7 Julli Cory Cats, and 9 Neon Tetras.
The tank is established and I do about a 30% water change one to two times per week. The water is very soft with a little higher than neutral pH. 0 Ammonia and Nitrites.
I was trying to decide if I want to get 2 German Blue Rams with 4 Lyretail Checkerboard Cichlids or 6 of the Checkerboards. Any thoughts or ideas?
Also I will be adding 3 more Tetras at some point in the near future when they go on sale again.
Random note: The reason I have 7 cory cats is because I had a random fry that showed up. I guess they bred. I didn't even notice till I was cleaning the tank and he swam out of the rocks. I caught him and he is currently in a breeding container in the tank.
