mod's move this if you want...
but if i could get some feedback on the brands of cameras everyone use it would help me decide which to get. i feel a camera in my near future
post a sample pic if you have it too ok?
I use a Kodak DX4330 - it does take high quality pictures if you make sure it's focused in or you're at the right angle if you use flash (I don't use flash on my fish pictures.)
nice pics both of you how close to you get to the subject when shooting? is it right up to the glass or are the pics taken from a number of feet away? this is one of the biggest problems i've had with the camera i use (borrowed from work). it seems i can never get close enough and end up cropping the pics in photoshop to focus more on the fish. also, what are the zoom specs ie. 3x etc.?
I've got an Olympus Stylus 300. GREAT little camera! And the price wasn't too bad either at 300 US. Its all weather. Its got a 3x Optycal zoom and 4x digital zoom. 3.2 megapixel effectiveness (not really sure what that means.) Plus its got a lot of other great features right on the camera itself. You can make your pic black and white or sepia and it just saves another for you.. so you can keep the original pic (this is right on the camera now) it takes video, but no sound, lots of cool settings on it. Too much to explain.
Its easy to upload pictures. Its small, but not too small. Just a GREAT camera. But then Olympus always makes great cameras.
It takes a min for this page to load but its got a LOT of info on it for you and a pic of the camera. As for sample pics taken from my camera.. you can check out my webpage. All those pics were taken from this camera. I highly recommend this camera. I like it even better than the Sony Maveric which my Aunt has (EXPENSIVE camera). Takes great quality pics for computer and printing out. (I print my own pics of my daughter for family and my album.) I take pics from right up on the glass, back a few inches and back far. It all comes out.
