I bought these two very cute botia yesterday, but I am unsure as to their exact name. I bought them as Botia "Kubotai", but I am not too sure that they are. Any ideas??? They are about 4.5 cm long.

Im going to second the yoyo notion!! Great loaches to have. If you have snails they will eat them and they are big plant dis-organizers! But, great fish - what tank of yours are they in?? Good purchase, they do prefer a larger group 3+ so if you are able to get more, you should!!

They are in my 29 Gallon which I have emptied of Malawis, but is now heaily planted!!! They are so cute, perhaps I should get a couple more, but I want a small shoal of Cories as well!!!!

Here is a pic of my new setup!

I would add a few more, I have 4 but 3 should be okay too. I do also have them with cories and they get along fine - both my cory species are a little larger. Ive heard that they can be aggressive about eating, but mine do not cause any problems for my cories. Ive also noticed that they really enjoy "kicking" up the plants. They swim around and knock around the bottom until my darn plants are floating all over the place! They also enjoy a cave to hide in or some driftwood to swim around/through/under ect. Your tank looks great, maybe you could make a "cave" out of rocks in one corner?!
