A few days I put up a post of my new tank with a background, and without one, and we decided that it deffinately looked better with, but the one I was using didn't match the rest of the tank. So have a look at the pictures, there is what the background is, and then one of it in my tank.

The pictures start with the next post.

Thanks

I like simple pure black background. THat option doesn't exist in your list... :D

:D I was first to vote on this one!!!! :p :p :p

I think the planted with blue looks the best, but if you had more plants, I would say just the blue. I just prefer a natural look, and find that rocky backgrounds and the like don't really follow that look. Just my opinion though. have a look on my gallery and go to my tanks, you'll see mine with quite a lot of real plants and a blue background. The plants have grown much thicker now and it looks a lot better.
Having said all that though. Plain blue looks a bit dull if you don't have many plants!!!!

I will be putting in some live plants, but I've only had fish in it for 1 week, and i was told that I have to wait another week before I can put the plants in.

These are all the backgrounds I have currently, and I'm trying to avoid buying more

I voted Squarish Rocks. It gives your aquarium continuity as it matches the similar-shaped rocks you already have.

No.2, planted with blue methinks. Personally, I'd like to have no background, with the tank surrounded by four little pastel illuminating lights. I'm a fan of mood lighting.

I like the planted with blue, but the planted with round rocks is nice too. I like the plants b/c it gives the tank some depth
