Before i got my current pair, i briefly searched but came up empty. I saw a picture of the convict and loved it's bright colors (not that my two aren't bight).

Ideally i just want to maintain a tank where i have a pair breeding all the time, but it's rather difficult to get rid of the fry. I figured i'd want to keep something unique and something i could maybe have an easier time getting rid of.

I mean would anyone be interested in Red Point fry more than regular fry?

SO anyone have leads on where i can get some? If they turn up, i will be looking to pass on my current 3" breeding pair away (after fry are old enough to separate)

EDIT: Ok i founf that Jeff Rapp now sells them for $10 each, but there is a minimum $50 order. Since i don't feel like ordering 5 of them, i'm looking for any more sources. Anyone breed them and have some fry?

I have 2 breeding pairs of Honduran Red Point Convicts who pump out more babies than you can shake a republican at. I feed most of the fry to my young cichlids.

I don't tell the LFS that I'm brining in Convicts. I take them in and show them to them. They always want them.

I haven't seen a decent picture of a Red Point Convict anywhere. Mine are bright blue with nice red and yellow fin tips. The females get vibrant red stripes down the side when she's ready to spawn and only slightly less red other times.
