TPN+ and Excel. None of my LFS's stock it. Where could I get it online?

Hey micko, you'll be hard pressed to find an actual store, but most of the plant websites sell them. As DTD said, Green machine, aqua essentials should, java plants, planted tanks, etc etc. EBay is a good place to look too - minnnt got a bottle of something on there which is a replication of tpn but cheaper; afraid the name escapes me now though...

Hey micko... eBay would be the obvious choice for looking for TPN+ TNC etc etc etc...

I have had TPN+ before, and tbh, i have had better results from dosing a product called 'Green Low'. They also do one called 'Green High' which is the one that includes all the trace elements etc which are needed when dosing carbon. These are dry ferts that you mix with water. You can buy all the salts you need to make your own mixture tailored to your needs. There is a thread regarding EI in the PARC section Micko. It gives you all the info you need. I bought they 'Green Low' product as i was curious and tbh, a bit lazy.

Also, just to add, try Easy Carbo rather than Excel... more plants seem to like Easy Carbo better than Excel, especially Vallis.

I have never used Easy Carbo, but Tizer stated that his Vallis grew much better with it compared to the Flourish Excel which tends to stunt it. It certainly wrecked my Vallis.

Belfast didn't happen as friends come over unexpected. Could have done without them to be honest Minnnt. I did think about pretending I wasn't in but I wasn't "allowed" to do it.

Cazzie, that would be great. I've never used ferts so I'm open to all suggestions.

Lol my Vallis grows about 1mm a month using Excel!! Certainly does stunt its growth in my experiance.

Never tried Easycarbo but would like to if it would make my Vallis grow. Only problem is I have 4 litres of Excel to use first, so if my maths is any good I will have run out of Excel in 2014.

Yeah im selling 2 litres and keeping 2, It has worked wonders on all the other plants I have had execpt the Vallis.
It might not be the Excels fault mind, could just be I cant grow Vallis
