Does anyone know where to buy Ammonia in Portsmouth?

Homebase, Farlington is where I got mine, I assume they've got it at Burrfields as well.

TLM has mentioned that Homebase do stock Ammonia, it's an own brand bottle usually found in Household Cleaning section.

If your local Homebase does not stock any ammonia, then this thread may help.

Glad to help, there are photos of different bottles of ammonia on that thread, think the first one is Homebase brand. That should help you to see what you're looking for.

Got my Ammonia in Farlington as you said, Burrfields had none at all. Wierd lol

If you have a " The range"  shop they sell it in there dirt cheap aswell  just for anyone else looking!

With Cycling your tank you can get really cheap API master test kits on Ebay! I paid £18 for mine and free P&P!.

LOL, The Range have just opened up about half a mile from the Burrfields Homebase that Rob and I have mentioned. It's on the site of the former MFI and Yes Car Credit stores, both of whom have gone bankrupt. Let's hope that's not an omen......

The range is a brilliant shop..... remember .. "If they dont have it... you dont need it".

But think I paid like 2 quid for my ammonia and its a big bottle!
