Basically i have 9 variatus platy (v. platy for short) fry in a 21 litre tank. they were born in early august last last year so they're about 4 months old? Anyway I'm worried the small tank is stunting they're growth. The biggest one is just over a cm long, the rest are smaller and the smallest is about half that size. I'm sure that's too small for their age. There are a few from my other female that were born a bit later (less than 2 weeks) I didn't catch and they are now nearly 2 cm. Is that cos the smaller ones were eaten? Or is it because they weren't stunted?
Should I put them in the 90 litre tank with the adults? Or will they be eaten straight away?
Or should I leave them in the fry tank?
By the way when they get to 2 cm I'm going to give them to my lps (local pet shop) so if i put them in the big tank I'd just have to catch them again.
Thanks guys
