hi everyone,
i've got a problem. One of my oto's has died (i presume) but i can't find him anywhere. Stripped filter out minute ago he's just not in tank that i can see!

Ideas?? Must be in there somewhere!

Do you have snails or other ottos? If so, then they probably ate him fast enough for you not to find the body. Sad, but it happens. Sorry for your loss. :rip:

hi,

i have one other oto plus corys and tetras.

Otto was called bill other one was ben, did bill eat ben?! :shifty:

should i get another one, or will he( ben) bully him?

Ben probably ate Bill... :X You can add more, as ottos are very peaceful species and actually enjoy the company of their own kind. I would suggest getting more than one, as they sometimes school or hang around together and it's quite cute.

 that's what i meant to say ben ate bill!!

I'll buy him so mates when i go back to shop. He was on my amazon plant leaf one day, gone the next! Thought he was feeding ok, i left enough algae on tank glass for them both.

 I was the one who actually switched them up. I didn't even realize that you did, too.

Good luck with the new ottos. They are some of my favorite small fish.
