Where Do You Put Yours!

Iwas just wondering where other peeps placed their Eheim outlet and strainer,in their tanks.
Mine is at the bottom of the tank,would it be more effective higher up.

mine is just above the gravel line.

Mine are a few inches above the gravel line.

Thanks,black angel ,bloozoo2 and maryjason .Mine being at the bottom of the tank it seems to get blocked with leaves a lot ,i think I might saw a couple of inches off and see what happens. Thanks again.

Ive got my Eheim spray bar near the surface of my tank, increasing surface agitation. I have the protected inlet tube about 3" from the substrate!

Thanks mr_miagi32 My spray bar is in the same position, i think i will shorten the inlet tube by a couple of inches.

Is your spray bar on the back or on the end of your tank.Im getting a lot of Algae on the front glass,and was thinking of puting it at the opposite end to the outlet pipe.
