The fish stores in the Wyvale garden centres are completely independent companies and nothing to do with the actual garden centre. As far as i know Maidenhead Aquatics has a contract with Wyvale to be the only company that have fish stores in their garden centres though this could differ regionally. Branches of MA probably get their fish in much the same way as nearly every other fish store via a selection of wholesalers and foreign exporters.

The company I work for is within a Wyevale and it is an independant.
From what I can gather (staff room gossip) Wyevale are leaning to having their own pet centers and not renewing any contracts with franchises/consessions.

Do smaller shops get their fish from the same sort of places? And any idea how much profit they make on fish? LOL, just wondering. I'm lucky enough to have found my dad's friend owns a pet shop With a very good fish section And I can get discounts And he said he can try to order anything I'm after This is great
