Hello all,

This is actually my second post... I tried earlier but I think that I posted into the wrong section and the post got binned. Sorry Mods.

I've been lurking on the site for a while now and have picked up some good tips from various posters. Many thanks..

Anyway, I've been breeding Mollys for the past year or so. I've been having great success with this and am having a lot of fun rearing the fry.

Yesterday I stumbled across an article about Amazon Mollys (Poecilia Formosa). I like the look of these fish and would like to get some.
Does anybody know where I might obtain some?? (I live in Northumberland if this is revelant).

Many thanks,

Welcome to the forum Bodge99. I moved your earlier post here but had no way to let you know. It had been posted in the Species index which automatically made it invisible to all but the MODs.
It is probably worthwhile checking places like E-bay and Aquabid once in a while but your best bet would be to join your local livebearer association and ask there. In the US that is the American Livebearer Association and in the UK it is the British Livebearer Association. For the ALA at least, I know they have a publication called the Livebearer Trader that accepts ads from members for wanted fish. I know because I publish it. I suspect the BLA has a similar publication because both clubs work with each other to a degree and use each other's ideas quite often.
