As title really, I've seen so many of the nano tanks that are so nice and simplistic, and I want one. Just a glass box, a clear lid wouldnt go amiss either, no trims or hoods or black aquarium seal - just a nice cube of around 20-30 litres. Not fussed if it comes with a clip on light or filter or not.

Where can I get one? Anyone have one?

If you're in the uk P@H do a plain glass 25 litre cube with glass lid for about £25.
It comes with a filter too

They've discontinued it :( I tried to order one the other day.

edit: but yes, that is basically the sort of tank I want.

Have they? Oh dear I was wanting to get another.
Maybe one of the larger stores still have them.
The next clear glass one I can think of is the Arc Arcadia

I have seen some of those 25l cubes last week at P@H. Maybe try ringing up another less local store, but still close enough to see if they have any left?

I know they discontinued some a while ago due to a problem with the filter, but they fixed that.
My local store doesn't have them, but a larger one further away usually does, though I haven't been in a while.
As above, try ringing round the larger stores near you

Dont know where you are in the UK but Rare Aquatics do them at about 18 inches.

Also you could look at the custom tank builders like ND Aquatics etc they do all sizes and I think some of their smaller sizes are priced pretty well.

Will

An AquaOne Aquanano would fit the bill nicely, plus they actually have quite a decent filtration system built in to the back of the tank. They do various sizes.

Unfortunately I cant get to other stores, I live in the middle of nowhere and dont drive :( they did say there were none at any of the stores in the area.

Can I ask what the flow is like on the aquanano, is it very gentle or directable/controllable in any way? And according to the product info, it looks like you can put the heater in the back compartment where the filter is, so it cant be seen, is this right?

they re-branded them and sell them without a light, they are in my local store.

Yep on my father in laws one (he has the 55litre one) the heater is housed in one of the filter compartments out of sight. The flow is provided by a small powerhead which is adjustable for power from a trickle to quite a strong current. This is also hidden behind the black acrylic divider that houses the filter.
