When To Remove Cichlid Fry?

Hi, i was just wondering when i should remove the fry from my HRP's and Rainbow cichlids? At what age are they capable of surviving on their own away from mum and dad? Also if the parents decide to spawn again, will they attack the fry if they're still with them?

I have had a few cichlids breeding and I remove them within hours of them swimming freely & 99% of them survive

Thanks Amy. I will try and juggle a few fish around to see if I can free up a tank... oh the joys!!
