I took down my old tank yesterday morning and set up my new tank last night and was wondering when I could put the fish back in. I put the established filter back in the new tank (tetratec 1200) this afternoon about 2 hours ago to give it a bit of time in the new tank. I did a waterchange this morning as im using ada aquasoil and I heard it leeched ammonia for a few weeks so I will have to continue this everyday. Would it be too soon to addd them tonight?, the water is all heated up the the right temp and like I said its an established filter nearly 3 years old.

providing the tank is heavily planted (as they use ammonia) then it should be fine to do 50% water changes everyday to help keep the levels low.

yeah tank is heavily planted, Ive added fast growers (vallis and hygrophila polysperma). Il go and test ammonia levels now and probably add fish tonight, then il add the co2 back tomorrow.
