Ok, so the stuff is all here, and I've got my tanks set up. I have 4 retired betta breeders, so I decided to get two of those nifty all-glass 2.5 gallon aquariums because they come with a divider. I have also replaced their light with a 10W 6700K compact fluorescent, which is supposedly equivalent to a 50W regular bulb. I got fluorite for substrate, and started with some micro sword, cabomba, and red ludwigia. Hopefully at least one of the three will do well.

I have some small powerfilters on the way, and I'll get pictures as soon as the clay settles. I rinsed that stupid fluorite until my back hurt and my legs were trembling from leaning over the edge of the tub... and it still wasn't enough. I think there is more clay down my drain than I managed to get into my tank!! Oh well, patience, right???

Anybody have any ideas on how to put CO2 in a small tank without killing fish from overdose?

Where did buy your light fixture? Im looking for a light fixture for a 5gallon planted tank that im planning on.

I bought my light bulb from drsfostersmith.com They had my tank for sale, and recommended the compactfluorescent bulb in the description.

SWEEEET! My micro sword is pearling... I've never had plants that pearled before... anyone want to jump up and down and squeal with me????
