When Do Remove Daddy?

I have heard conflicting information on this. When should I remove the male betta from the breeding tank. The fry hatched the night before last.

I've always read that you remove him once the fry are free swimming on their own.

Netty is right, the the fry stop bobbing up and down and start to move around the tank daddy needs to be taken out and given a good meal. Its usually after 3 days that fry start to free swim
