When Do My Fry Get Color?

Well, my fry are a month old and the only color they have is black. How long is it supposed to take before they start getting more color?

my platy fry went from see through to orange in two weeks

Oh ya, sorry, forgot about the type. xD
They're guppies. I've got twelve of them in a ten gallon and I'd say they're about 1.5-2 cm long. All they have is black and sometimes if they're in the right light, they have a bit of purple around the gills, like their mother.

within a couple of weeks they should be on their way.

What does the mother look like? If she has colour on her body or fins, that will appear within a month or two after birth. If the only colourful markings they will have are iridescent scales, those tend not to show until the fish are nearly mature.

i have about 30 baby guppy fry.
and still more to come.
they come out see through and yellowey?
but there like clear.
mine havent got their colour yet.
