When Can I Put My Shrimp/snails Back In?

i am currently treating for ich, i removed my shrimp/snails as the copper in the treatment would kill them..... how soon can i put them back in after the treatment finishes? also will my filter media contain some copper? if so how do i get rid of it?

Put some carbon in your filter today. Remove it tomorrow and add some new carbon. Thurs you can add your shrimp/snails.
