Well this is the question ........

My fish are as follows (excuse the lack of knowledge please :*)

3x2x1.5 tank

1 plec - (decker)
4 Large neon tetras
4 mollys (2 orange 2 yellow)
2 kissing gourami (names censored)
2 larger mollys (1 black 1 white(micheal and jackson))
3 female betta
1 cory - (dori)
1 tiny tiny cat fish (spotted type)(and no he doesn't eat my neons)
1 male betta (in love with the rtbs and loves being in a comunity tank)
1 RTBS (in love with my betta - how weird is that they swim around together)

Small tank (no idea on size)

1 male betta (my rescued fish)

Third tank in shed and not running but about 2 ft tall hexagonal. (lovely)

Now this is my question

Should i carry on as it is as they are all very happy and have never had chewed fins or fights. Or shall i split them up and run three tanks which i can make room for but unsure if they will like being split.

If you say split please tell me how you think they should be split.

Interested in your views.

Split. Not sure of the split, but will give you room for more cory's and they like to be in groups of four or more (I know I only have three, but one died :( ).

Yea, you need some more cories ^^ They are worthwhile fish to get alot of too, they're so fun to watch ^^ Same happened to me Jflowers ,except two of mine pass :( So yea, Cories, go with them ^.^ If the rest of the fish seem fine, I don't know if a split is really necesary, how long have all these fish been together? Does the betta not harrass any of the others?

No never, he loves swimming around in the big tank too, he has a pyramid he like to hide in and none of them show any signs of fights or nips.

Will look into more corys didn't realise they are happy with more. :)

been together since july some are newer then others. Will my tank be too crowded with 3 more fish ??

:dunno:

Only thing I'd be worried about is the plec.

Some (though not all) species havethe ability to pass 18" in length, and they have a well earned reputation as poop machines

Mind you, some catfish get large and/or predatory so just keep a watchful eye on it

The plec has a home if he gets too big, im lucky as my aunt has a 5ft so i have no problems there. :D

So i'm ok to get 3 more it wont be too crowded ? ? :dunno:
