Whats Your Favorite Fish And Why?

So what is your favorite fish? is it a tropical? brackish? or marine fish? do you own th fish? or are you planning on owning it? picture of your chosen fish would be great

Really hard question as I love all my fish so none are actually a favorite, but I do have one very special fish, Jethro my common plec, he is adorable and was in a horrific state when I got him (so was his tank mate Gibbs) but Jethro was in far worse condition with terrible ripped fins, full of parasites and desperately thin. It took me 6 weeks to get him over the worst and had to almost force feed him as he was so weak. Now he is like a big sloppy dog, comes when he is called and loves nothing more than a good tickle.

i was hoping a common plec would emerge most people i know, dont actually like them for some odd reason?! but each to there own i sopose.

He is about 16". I would love to have the space to build a huge tropical pond and fill it with all the unwanted large plecs that i see advertised. I think they are fantastic, so graceful and clever.

my red sev spotted sev vinny and my green sev litle green sev ( hes not little now but its what we called him when we got him and its kinda stuck)

sevs in general really i love em they are full of personality and always up to something

cant resist pics !!

heres vinny the tanks resident show off who loves nothing better than showing off doing loop the loops then spreading his fins as if to say look how handsome i am!

and little green sev the exact opposite of vinny he sulks a lot

and not forgetting my old rotkeil rip fella

i also love my golden nuget plec and my pair of kribs

edit: oh and my senegal bichir i love the way he slithers across bogwood like a snake and the way he chomps his food down like a dog is sooo funny. god i could go on forever if i started on fish i dont own lol im just fish obsessed i think

Too keep the plec theme going, I want a albino sailfin pleco at some point. I'm not a pleco person, but I was amazed by a albino sailfin at last years fish show. He was big ~16". Here's video of him at the show.
