What's Wrong With My Sailfin Pleco?

It looks like his body is rotting? The water levels are zero for ammonia and nitrite, and none of my other fish seem to be affected?

Does anyone know what it is and what I can do about it?

Looks bacterial to me,,,, could there be something in the tank that could have attacked him? Or maybe sharp rocks/ornaments??
If you're in the US I would get some Maracyn 1 and 2 and use full dose of each for 10 - 14 days with daily 50% water changes.(directions on box are crap).... If not in the US I have no clue, just wait a little and you should get some help... If it can wait till tomorrow Wilder is usually on in the morning- she's the doc around here. You might want to post you water stats PH/Ammonia/Nitrites/Nitrates/Temp. etc.

Hi,

Thanks for the advice. I'm in the UK so I'll wait for Wilder I guess. I've only got the ammonia and nitrite levels are both 0 ppm.

I've got some soft water cichlids in there (but nothing with a temper, and I've not seen any aggressive behaviour - he seems to be swimming alright so hopefully if it was some unwarranted aggression its subsided.
