not that clear, could the fish be ripping them off in strands?
If I'm not mistaken, that's a spider plant --- a non aquatic plant. It looks like it's starting to rot![]()

hi the plant is called chlorophytum becketii, a lot of aquarium websites and shops sell them so i think it is an aquatic plant.
please let me know if you know otherwise.
thank you
Nope. Still not an aquarium plant. They're mostly used for terrariums-half-land/half-water type of tanks, that's why a lot of people mistake them as true aquatic plants. They're not, though.![]()
Do you mean Cryptocoryne beckettii?
I`ve just bought one of these, please tell me its not going to die![]()
ok thanks for your help. sorry i forgot the slash in the website. click on plants and it is on the first page. cheersI`ve just bought one of these, please tell me its not going to die![]()
It probably is. Its not an aquatic plant. As for what can you use instead of that, I'd recommend jungle val. Easy to grow, and looks good too!
And the reason I said Cryptocoryne becketii is beacause I thought the topic starter got mixed up or something, because I've never heard of Chlorophytum becketii before.
Also, I can't seem to find www.aquaticplantation.co.uk...![]()
