That to me looks like a Potassium deficiency mainly, but you could also do with some N and P imo. I agree with Si on the TPN+

I use Profito, but i also dose extra K alongside. As a Trace it's a good fert IMO, but doesn't contain N and P. It does have some K in it but not a lot IMO. You could always try the Easylife Nitro and Phosfo. I use these and find them excellent. This is one reason why i don't use anything else.

Ok I've turned my lights down to 7hours a day now and I've just ordered some TPN+ should I be dozing easy life carbo aswell or not?? And how much do you recommend dozing of TPN+? thanks alot for your help every1 much appreciated

have you got a picture of your whole tank?

as i said 2ml per day and moving up to 3 if necessary should do for the TPN+ and yes I would raise the easycarbo slowly to around 2ml.

Lots of swords! Hungry hungry swords... is that a cryptocoyrne or two i see at the front? If you uproot the crypts they should break into smaller plants which you can spread around the front a bit more, if you want to anyway.

I use dry ferts straight into the tank, see James's Planted tank page. EI method.. swords need iron avaiable in trace mix.. also potasium nitrate, magnisium sulphate, and monopotasium phosphate..

i think its a crypt wendtii on the left i think and a pygmy chain sword next to it on the right i think tbh pdsimon.....so do i need to be dosing other ferts because ive got swords or?? should i just be dosing TPN+ and easy carbo?? i been looking into going to dry ferts or makin my own solution up....would i need just....KNO3, KH2PO4 and traces or more??? thanks again!

Dry ferts aren't my subject, but i've had many stem plants all in the same tank and overdosing TPN+ for them is easy enough. If you limit the lighting and balance the easycarbo they won't need as much nutrients either.

well my lighting is 2x15w is that high?? do u reccomend i do something else with the lighting? its on for 7 hours now aswell. what do you mean stem plants?? sorry to be dumb! overdosing TPN+ isnt a problem then? just expense?

No it doesn't sound too high, its possibly the upper end of a low tech tank though. I wouldn't alter the lighting

I just mean fast growing plants really like swords... Over dosing TPN+ is fine if you keep up with waterchanges and obviously don't dose too much.

Tank looks good though, everything looks healthy i assume the pic of the sword is newer than that of the tank though

ok then sounds about average then, ok well ill go ahead with all yours and everyone else advice and fingers crossed i wont have much problems!! i do weekly water changes so wont be a problem i wouldnt of thought so! yeah picture is from when i planted the plants but dosent look much different atm apart from those pics of the yellowish leaves etc! thank you very much pdsimon! much appreciated and everyone else!
