Whats The Name Of My Pleco

Hi all, i recently bought this pleco from my LFS but they were unsure of the correct name does anybody know?

He is black, with white tipped fins and has a gold shimmer over him....

Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

It's a Baryancistrus beggini. They are often incorrectly called 'Blue Panaque'.

I knew that one was coming...

I was going to suggest that it was some sort of Panaque in your other thread as it has the typical bullish head and is short and stocky in overall appearance.

If it is a Blue fin Panaque L239 then it should only grow to about 5 inches, its also called the Blue dwarf pleco just to make us even more confused lol

Oh really? my LFS said about a foot in 10years!

5 inches is much better for me though!

Any tips and advice on keeping him in tip top condition?
