What's The Difference?

This may seem ike a silly question, but is there any difference between short finned male bettas and plakats or are they one in the same? What are the differences if any?

I got some females some time ago and out of a total of 6 fish, 3 of them turned out to be males. Just wondering how I can classify the one male I kept.

Any advice would be helpful thanks

I think a short finned is somewhere in between a PK and a normal HM/SD...., but thats only a partially educated guess

Plakats or correctly plakad {pla-kad} are what Siamese fighters are known as in Thailand.
they are the ones that most resemble the original wild B.splendens,
before mankind got his grubby mits on it and decided he could do a better job than mother nature.
