Hi I recently purchased a Co2 regulator and 5lb Co2 tank....it is all set up and working fine...how ever to get the Co2 in the tank ive been using standard airline tubing connected to a airstone and suctioned down to the bottom of the tank.

I can see Co2 bubbling out of the airstone in very tiny little bubbles...im wondering if that is alright or if there are ways to make sure all the Co2 is being used up.

Or if there are any ways to make some sort of very simple or easy to make diffuser or one to buy so im getting all the Co2 possible for the plants.

Thank you for any advice possible :)

Hiya if you have an external filter slip the co2 pipe into the intake of the filter. As the co2 goes throught the filter it will mix with the water. regards mick

i wouldnt go down that route co2 rots rubber use co2 tubeing not standard air line tubeing i would recomend a boyu up atomiser fitted to outlet of filter there pretty cheap .

I would use a bubble counter and a ceramic diffuser. It makes the smallest bubbles. Place it in an area with good circulation :good:
