Whats The Best Food

okay well i have a 30l biOrb thats got mature media and my reading asre 0ppm amonia and its been that consistantly, the inhabitance of the tank are 1 male dwarf gourami, 3 platys (1 female and 2 males), 2 white cloud moutain minnows 2 harliquins and i got 2 free snales with the gourami now theres about 40 freely breading (snales). i did have a lot of algae and now theres almost none, should i give them a tiny amount of algae tablets .
and secondly my old food is going old and i know that over time it looses nutrishion, im going to get some more but should i also gegt some tablets of food for the shy fish?

If the snails aren't 'pests' you can feed them cucumber. (Take it out after a day if any is left.)

I'd feed your fish flakes with frozen food occasionally.
