got this squirrl 3 days ago. nothiced this in the afternoon.

Are you talking about what looks like grains of salt or sugar on his skin? If so, ich i'm afraid. Get him out of the tank and put him in qt where you can treat him

more along the lines of the huge bubble over his eye. what looks like salt i dont think is ich, he likes to hang out by the bubble wall. its a crappy cell phone pic.

Oh sorry, just thought that was a reflection in his big solider eye - could it be pop eye?

oh well dont matter now. he is dead as well as my blue spot puffer. i have no idea whats going on. my damsels and blennies are fine, my anemone and feather dusters are fine. snails and hermit crabs are fine. water is fine. am i just that unlucky? my moray is great too. eats well swims a lot. i really want a harliquin tusk but am i ready to plop $100 on that? anyone live in jersey wanna take a look at my tank?

Right lets start again:

Tank size
how much live rock?
Stats: ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate etc
skimmer?
Phosphate remover?
stock?
how long has tank been established?
Is it just the fish that are dying?
Do you have any coral?

harlequin tusks are fairly fragile til the are established tank mates. Especially the samall ones. They also grow to be huge.

The eye is a bacterial infection iirc

yep, im dealing with the same thing with my flame angel right now. shouldnt be popeye cause it happens in both eyes... i think. It started when he scratched his right on a piece of rock or so, and the eye gradually got worse and clouded up.

Starting to get better now, the best thing to do is to make certain that he is eating. If he is eating, he would be getting the nutrients and energy to make a comeback. If hes not eating then hes probably a gonner.
