Krib definitely gonna die, probably in the next couple of hours I'm so gutted, i'll never find another krib that looks as good as him, i've even looked at google images of male kribs and not 1 of them compares to him!

No don't raise the temp you only do that when fish have parasites.

So the krib not looking any better, there not much to be done really.
By the time you notice there something not right it can be to late.

Thanks Wilder.. my fingers are crossed too.. mr krib is still hanging on but hasn't eaten now for almost 2 weeks and is just floating vertically in the corner of the tank.

I would prepare for the worst.
Have you tryed the garlic to stimulate his appetite.

Unfortunately I think it's too late for that. He's barely breathing so I don't think there's any chance of him eating and am concerned about polluting the water as cant do a change for 7 days due to meds. If he perks up at all i will try the garlic. thanks

Well Krib finally died this morning I'm really upset!

At least he's not suffering anymore, I was going to put him out of his misery last night so i caught him in the net and rested the net on the surface of the water and while i was debating in my head weather or not i should do it he jumped out which i took as I sign... I guess it wasn't though as he died anyway!

Well 5 cherry barbs and 1 cockatoo left... let's see what happens!
