I do partials very diligently...My fish look a tad sluggish, PH is fine. The filtration is actually probably too much filtration for the 46 gallon bow tank..I just dont understand why my water is cloudy..I am not totally sure but I MIGHT have a bit of whitish film on some fish, I used a medication previously and also pretty much began over in terms of fish yet i see the same thing happening..

I really dont know what direction to take to resolve this and I am wondering if any of you could give input.

Thank you.

Hi, if you could furnish us with a little more info....

There are several different possibilities depending on the history of your set up.

The cloudiness could be from insufficiently rinsed substrate if your set up is fairly new. There again it could be bacterial blooming (milky water) Overfeeding. Over lighting. Pollution from unwashed hands in the tank (creams etc.)

Always best to start a thread like this with...

Tank type/size/capacity.
Filtration
Cycled
How long set up has been running from cycle completion
Water changing regime
Ammonia/nitrite/nitrate/Ph Actual levels ('fine' doesn't really mean a lot)
Type of testing kit used
Medications used and when
Planted (real) or not
Substrate/rocks/decoration used
Lighting times (also condition of ambient light)
Feeding (what and how much)
Finally what lives in your set up.

This is a good background for someone to help you, oh and if you do not get much response here then you maybe better placing this thread in the Tropical Fish Emergencies section as this is not a situation isolated to African set ups........ :good:
