Ive never really know about ghost shrimp but i found a picture of one and was wondering how big they got? Are they ok for a community 20G tank? Are they aggressive? How big do they get? Will they reproduce like rabbits?

(my head hurts :S )

They get to about 1 1/2", not aggressive except at very high temperatures, will reproduce, but chance of survival for babies is near nil. They'll eat fish fry though. All in all, a good scavenger

Nope not a good fish for me becuase i have TONS of babies and i love taking care of them because there so small and nice :D

They get 2" max. I've only seen one that big. They add almost nothing to your bioload. I would get around ten for a 20gal. They eat leftover food and fish poo. If you have soft water, you will ned to add a calcium supplement to help harden their new shells. They need some iodine to molt. Kent makes 2 and Seachem makes 1. It's for reef tanks. Add 1 drop per 5gal. Provide lots of hiding places. They are vulnerable until their shells harden.

i have 2 ghost shrimps in my 25g, surpisingly they havent' turned inot anyone's lunch, they'rea ctually quite cool to look at :D and generally they dont' go fro the live stuff but they'rea ll over anything that DOESN'T move and is dead :)

I think ill be safe and stick away from them until i get my semi-aggressive tank which will be 29 gallons or more. :D
