What's Doing This To Cam

He was in a 6 gallon with 9 galaxy rasboras, sand substrate, driftwood, java moss and elodea.

I moved them all to a 12 gallon 2 weeks ago, same set up just twice the size and added moss balls and coconut caves and a little java fern and terracotta pots.

He is now shredding, he looks like a crowntail now. He is fine, eating and swimming and exploring. But shredding! But on what?!

Water parameters are good
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 25

Do your little terracotta pots have any sharp edges, or anything else come to think of it?

Check your coconut cave too Mel....one of ours was snagging his fins on one, so all of ours are now sanded down Or he maybe a little stressed by the move and is tail biting!!!

Ahh ok will do, I know 2 of them are smoother than Ellis's bum but the other hasn't been checked, didn't think of it the pots are deffo smooth though

it's not a form of finrot is it, Odin's form of finrot that he gets on and off makes him look more like a CT too, bit bummed as caspian seems to have gotten a little finrot of some kind while i was away over the weekend, all are on daily doses of myxazin now!

I really don't know, he looks shredded. Can I treat the tank even though there are other fish in it?

caspian's has gotten worse he's more shredded today, my luck is so rubbish is there anything better than myxazin for finrot?

I think I am gonna give up male bettas when cam and jerico go to fishy heaven they are more trouble than they are worth

my two are both tail biters...what are the blimmin chances.....it's not fair is it?

I got some new cories yesterday to lighten my spirits, I have 3 panda cories and my other half got a dwarf gourami for his tank
