What Would You Pay For This Second Hand Tank?

2nd hand we got the 800 duo with all the same bits for £40....

so 50-60 would be good for the 1000 deep.

man, i feel lucky reading your guys' posts. i went garage sale shopping a couple months backed, and picked up a 30 long, with the hood, lights, stand, emperor 400 filter, for only 5 american bucks.... and everything works perfectly...

The tank works out at being just under 50USG. Which is around 41 UK gallons.
It's also a few inches over a 3ft but not by much.
With no stand and only an internal I'd try for £85.

I get 50.9 US gal on the size and would not pay more than £50 for it I got my 130 US gal (used) for about £125 (2,000 Swedish Kronar) and that was with two lighting units and an Eheim 2252 filter and cover glass. It also included a welded iron stand! Things are not cheap in Sweden but I still feel I got a good deal, but then again I am an American of Scottish decent.

The seller regected my offer of £70 and asked if i can go any higher, so i have offered £80 which will be my final offer. Turns out the seller wanted between £100 - £150 for the set up.

Will let you all know if i get it, but im not holding my breath

i bought mine second hand a while ago, 36x15x18 with stand and hood, light and fluval 103 external filter for £40. But i think i was lucky with that. Hope all goes well with yours.

In the end it's down to how much your willing to pay to get the tank you want, but no one likes being ripped off.

£80 aint too bad considering you have a 2nd filter with it that would of set you back £15 or so to buy new.
