Okay, here is what I have total:

2x55 Gallon
1x45 Gallon Long
1x30 Gallon Long
1x29 Gallon
1x10 Gallon

2 - 40wx2 Shop Lights
1 - 40W Strip
2 - 15W Strip
2 - 20W Strip in hoods
1 - Incadescent (10 Gallon)

1 - Rena Cal Top Light 300W Heater
1 - TetraTec 100W Heater
1 - Generic 25W Heater

1 - Penguin 330 Filter
1 - Pengiun 170 Filter
1 - Aqua-Tech 20/40 Heater

What I need to do is setup the tanks to redisperse fish. I would like the danios out of the main 55 Gallon because I would like to have the chance to catch the guppy fry before they get eaten. :/

I can spend about $30 on hardware and the petsmart here will pricematch. I'm also going to buy a few more guppys.

So, my question is what would you purchase and how would you arrange the tanks?

Ok guess I am lost on the ?. If me I would set up the 55g and if you want make it a danio tank there is alot of them out there and some are cool looking. But like I said I am lost. Just set them all up and go from there.

The problem is cost. That is why I listed the equipment, etc...

I have one 55 up and running, but I can't figure out which one or two to do next or how to split the fish. :/

Give each 55 a shop light. Put the 40w strip, or one of the 20w hoods (you didn't say what size the hoods are!) on the 45. Put a 15w strip on the 29 & 30, or one of the remaining 20w hoods. The incadescent goes on the 10.

Put the rena cal 300w in a 55. Tetra tec 100w in the 30. 25w in the 10. You still need 200w for the other 55, 100w for the 29, 150w for the 45.

Penguin 330 in the 55 with the heater, 1 tank down. Penguin 170 in the 30, 2 tanks down. 20 40 on the 45, need to pick up a heater.

So the lights are good to go, need to get a 150w heater to finish the 45. Get a 200w & a 100w for the second 55 & the 29. Build your own sponge filters for the air pump in your sig to provide filtration for the second 55 & the 45. Do the sponge filter on the 10 also. Cycle the sponges in the 55 or 30 that you have running, in 2 weeks you have all tanks ready to rock.

So I would get the heater for the 45 first, for the 55 second. Some air line tube, sponge, pvc pipe & a few caps to build sponge filters. This should leave you a few bucks for guppys. One heater away from having the 29 running, and all tanks are up.

Tolak

Okay, that would be an okay solution. I'm going to have to think on that. I was planning on only setting up one or two at this time due to cost. I'm not sure I want sponge filters, but I will research them. As for heaters, yeah they are a thorn. I bought a rena cal top light for a good price, but I have to exchange it tomorrow. :/ Hopefully the new one works properly because then it makes them affordable. Otherwise I need to spend more money on heaters. :/
