This is my tank as it is now,

CIMG2387.jpg

Im waiting on some HC cuba which i shall plant on the left side mainly around the bogwood.

But, it doesnt look finished to me, like it needs that one final touch but i cant put my finger on it...

Got any suggestions?

Maybe something to soften up the look of the plants on the right? They are very much lined up in a row. Another piece of wood on the right placed towards the back (diagonally so that the angle mirrors the other piece of wood) with some moss covering it would add a different texture and cover up some sand. Also gives bottom-dwellers something to hide behind and shrimp enjoy going over moss looking for bits of detritus to eat.
Everything looks nice and healthy... I see your vallis has popped some new runners up. When they take off they really do go! ^_^

trying buying some more of the same plant species and planting them together rather than spreading them about, some cryptocorynes would look good.

Thanks, ill try all of those ideas.

I was also thinking of a few smaller plants, just so everything isnt as equal in height.

Anyone know of a bush like large leafed plant similar to this? But much smaller?

Edit:

Yeah the vallis has some runners, i was going to move it, but decided to leave it alone since it seems to be doing ok where it is.

Thanks arron, i probably dont need to tell you that ive already got some wendtii in...

I may buy some more... Hmm.

Edit: Water wisteria isnt really my thing... Thanks anyway.

Edit2: I like the parva. Ordered some.

I would add a few rocks on the bottom. Various natural colors. Maybe even 1 or 2 larger smooth river rocks as well.

Hmm, i wasnt really looking for rocks as my tanks fairly small and i want to keep as much open space as possible for my corys to dig and stuff...

Edit: Actually, If i can find some nice ones, i will try them. Cheers

I had cabomba in before, but i took it out because its messy. Im looking for something leaved that will stay small...

And thanks.
