What Would You Add To My 33gal (125l) Community

The tank: Fluval Roma 125
The filter: Eheim 2026 (recommended for 350l so almost 3x average filtration)
The weekly waterchange: 20%

The Stock (as it will be when final addition is added):
5 Dwarf Croaking Gouramis
8 Neon Tetras
5 Rummy Nose Tetras
2 Bolivian Rams
7 Kuhli Loach
3 Apple Snails
5 Amano Shrimp

Extra info: Heavily planted, nitrates currently don't go above 7ppm a week unless fertiliser is added. Water changes are done weekly without fail.

I'd like suggestions for a single fish that could be added as a 'center piece', preferably 6-10cm fully grown. Only one thing, I don't want a pearl gourami.
I was thinking of an L008 pleco as a possibility but thought my tank may look a bit bottom heavy then. And would definitely prefer a fish that used the whole tank. I just couldn't think of one...

Comments welcome, and if you don't think there is room for a final addition then feel free to say. I would like to know why aswell though!

I've seriously racked my brain on this one. And either I don't have a big enough 'fish databank' in my head. Or for some reason I just can't think of something suitable.

Any suggestions will be welcomed so long as they fit the criteria above. I will repost criteria again:
Size: 6-10cm ish
Temperament: Peaceful
Must be happy alone.
Preferably uses the whole tank
Isn't a pearl gourami (the only fish I could think of that fits the above, but I don't like them hehe)

Edit: It's probably more likely I just don't know of enough fish.

I was thiking maybe a male appistogramma. It should be quite peaceful with your stocking, but you might not want that. I am sure you already considered it. They might eat you ammano shrimp. I wouldn't chance it. SI don't know what to tell you, I hope you find somethin to put it there.

German blue ram wouldn't be a very good idea considering my current stocking has 2 Bolivian Rams. Thanks for the idea though.

Also BettaBoy, yep they had crossed my mind, I'm thinking adding another cichlid to the mix may not be a good idea. Any apistogramma in particular you were thinking of?

I'm not sure on that matter. I was thinking a cockatoo. They are the most hardy. And andrewwastso29 has a pair of german blue rams, and a pair of cockatoo cichlids in a 20 IMG tank, 24 gallons. I was planning on a cockatoo for my 10 gallon, but got a gold ram instead. But now I am getting a keyhole, and a cockatoo cichlid for my new 29, then adding my ram and neon tetras, then adding 4 more. I would watch out for your shrimp. Thaty would worrie me the most, I can almost gaurantee that they will be gone, maybe you could move them to antoher tank, If you have it.

I don't know...my amanos have been fine with the bolivians. Each shrimp is almost an inch in length, so to be honest they shouldn't be snack sized to anything Bolivian sized and below I wouldn't have thought.

Been doing a bit of reading and a few people have mixed cockatoos and bolivian rams together happily. They seem to be bottom-middle dwellers though? Which I'm not too interested in.

Very pretty - of course you'll probably hardly ever see it but that is the beauty of plecs....

Ahhhh but my tank is set-up so that even my corys were on view when they were 'hiding'. And they really liked hiding.
I set up all my bogwood surrounded by plants so it creates a really nice 'safe' cave, which is close to the back of the tank but gives me a perfect view.

I've even already decided where I think my little plec would live.... not that I've set my heart on a plec or anything... *Ahem*

Note: I haven't actually set my heart on the plec, I've just not though of anything that fits my specs

You could go for a small eel - half banded or zebrinus both stay small enough and are unusual.
